Bart Verstijnen - Evo sportster hooligan flat tracker

Bart Verstijnen from the Netherlands bought this evo sportster in the end of May this year, took it apart, sold everything except the frame and the engine, and than started to transform it into this super cool hooligan flattracker.

Suspension upgrades include a monoshock conversion in the back, and the forks off a cbr1100xx. The front and back are 19x2,5  shovelhead front wheels on Maxxis flat track rubber. Marcel van der Stelt made the custom alu gas tank and number plates. It runs on two separate TM40 Mikuni's. At first Bart was planning to built a front cylinder head on the rear cylinder but the pushrods turned out to be a problem. A picture of one of a Jared Mees's flat trackers gave Bart the inspiration to put the the front carb at the front on the left side. Apart from the gas tank and tail section that still need some paint, this bike is almost ready for action!

Thanks Bart, brilliant project! Can't wait to see it run!

We need more Hooligan Flatracker bikes in Europe. If you're working on one, let me know and I'll post it here!
